Half my father’s family came from Scotland. Mostly mariners from Caithness, the Highland port city of Aberdeen was also an abode for a generation or two.

An unremembered burial.
Granite so cold and hard it’s actually radioactive.

Past unwanted.
Past demolished.

What a difference a single day can make.
